The restoration of Villa Dona Belida began again in 2023 and is approached as a long-term process. The intention is not to transform the estate into something new, but to understand what already exists and allow it to continue.

Rather than replacing the past, the work focuses on preserving it. Walls are repaired where possible, wood is restored instead of discarded, and stone is treated not as ruin but as part of the estate’s memory.

Traditional materials remain central to the restoration. Lime plaster, natural finishes and careful carpentry help maintain the character of the buildings while ensuring their stability for the future.
